Board of Directors
Our Board is inspired by our mission and committed to our goals. They contribute their time, money, wisdom, & heart to help achieve our vision. GreenLight’s board is comprised of accomplished sustainability professionals with diverse experience.
GreenLight’s board provides the mentorship support, curriculum, training, and resources that students utilize to make their projects successful. They also work on expanding our impact to more colleges, businesses, and communities throughout Arizona and the United States.

Ashley Weisman, MSUS
Executive Director At ASU University Sustainability Practices, Ashley served as the Sustainability Certification Program Coordinator where she facilitated sustainability trainings for 300+ staff and led the development, outreach, and implementation of the program, which was awarded the ASU Outstanding Educational Program award. Ashley earned her Master of Sustainability Solutions degree at Arizona State University. For her graduate thesis, she led a local business from Bronze to Platinum certification in three months, interviewed 16 national certification practitioners, and published her findings based on her experience and research, including a guidebook for certification practitioners. During her time with GreenLight, both as a staff and student, Ashley has served as Program Development Director, Internal Development Intern, VP of Projects, and Solutioneer. Ashley is passionate about sustainability in business and K-12 curriculum, in addition to carbon sequestration projects. |
Kevin Keleher
Chairperson & Co-Founder Kevin graduated from Arizona State University’s School of Sustainability and W.P. Carey School of Business with honors in Economics of Sustainability and Supply Chain Management. Kevin was one of 5 students that started the grassroots GreenLight movement at ASU and is the one person that remains involved since its inception. He was selected as Student Entrepreneur of the Year for his work co-founding GreenLight (out of over 70,000 students) and helps lead our vision and mission to this day. He lives with his wife Helen and cat Jumoke in Phoenix and works as a top salesman in his field. |
Ryan Mores
Faculty Advisor & Co-Founder Ryan Mores has been with GreenLight since the first semester on campus and has been fortunate to support its development ever since. He serves as Vice Chair on the Tempe Sustainability Commission, and works at ASU’s School of Sustainability. He earned concurrent degrees in Business Sustainability & Supply Chain Management, as well as an International Business Certificate, from ASU’s W.P. Carey School of Business. Ryan is passionate about sustainability education, social equity, and exploring the great outdoors. |
Nathan Gassmann
Co-Founder Fatherhood laid the foundation for Nate’s interest in sustainability, and he is now a practicing sustainability professional. Professionally, Nate is the Manager of Global Sustainability for Subway restaurants and he has held prior roles with PepsiCo’s Global Office of Sustainability. Nate is also passionate about the nexus of sports and sustainability, with experience working on and leading projects at sporting events such as the College Football Playoff Championship, the Super Bowl, and the NFL Draft. Nate is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of ASU’s School of Sustainability and he maintains a Total Resource Use Efficiency (TRUE) certificate. |
Christine Cioffe
Board Member Christine Cioffe is a Senior Advisor and Board of Advisor member for a variety of Private Equity and Venture Capital firms specializing in Sustainability, Specialty Industrials, Agriculture and BioPharma. Most recently, Christine Cioffe was senior vice president (SVP), research and development (R&D), having joined PepsiCo in 2010. Chris was responsible for the leadership of the snacks R&D associates who work across the globe in developing and delivering innovation, productivity, brand stewardship and discovery platforms. Previously Chris established and led the PepsiCo Sustainability Office, which works across sectors, categories, brands and functions, in the creation and management of the PepsiCo Performance with Purpose 2025 program. Chris has a VMD degree (Veterinaries Medicinae Doctoris) from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science from Texas A&M and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Chris has published numerous scientific and portfolio management articles and book chapters as well as presented at numerous symposium and conferences. |
Masrur Huq
Board Member Masrur Huq is an entrepreneur with a passion for the outdoors. He loves to hike, kayak, and take photos on his adventures. His favorite thing about being outside is that it always feels new – no matter how many times you visit the same place or hike the same trail. Masrur graduated with a degree in business management and then went on to begin his career in real estate investing and co-founded Vig Home Investments. As the career progressed, he became the founder of Dynamic.RE, a real estate technology software, which was aligned with him becoming a co-founder of CAAZ Consulting, a software development consulting company. Masrur is passionate about real estate, technology, and sustainability–he’s always looking for ways to make the world a better place! |
Max Scott
Board Member Max Scott is a skilled public affairs professional with experience leading multimillion-dollar global policy initiatives and a proven track record of advancing U.S. economic priorities overseas. Previous to working in government Max advised Fortune 50 technology companies on global marketing campaigns, content strategy, and new product launch programs as a management consultant. Max brings a unique understanding of how to grow a global movement, develop a comprehensive communications strategy, and effectively message the importance of sustainability solutions and education internationally. He holds degrees from Arizona State University’s School of Sustainability and the London School of Economics. Max is passionate about entrepreneurship and shaping the future of our world through the responsible use of technologies and advancing the objectives of the sustainable development goals. |
Kena Fedorschak
Board Member Kena Fedorschak is an engineer and data scientist in the private aviation industry. He serves on a technical working group driving safety and reliability across a mixed fleet — business jet and vertical lift. He is experienced in nonprofit management, governance, and finance. Further, Kena holds a Master of Business Administration from the W.P. Carey School of Business as well as undergraduate degrees in Sustainability and Psychology from Arizona State. In his personal life, Kena is an outdoorsman, scuba diver, and plays on a Phoenix-area ultimate frisbee club team. He is an avid investor, technology enthusiast, and recently dove into the world of art importing and collecting with his dad. Kena joined the GreenLight team because he is passionate about providing students with nonconventional and applied learning opportunities outside the classroom. |
Max Christman
Board Member Maximilian Christman manages all facets of the sustainability program at the California Institute of Technology. He’s tasked with creating sustainability programs that match the high achieving reputation of Caltech in areas including alternative transportation, waste management, laboratory efficiency, and climate leadership. Max holds a Masters of Environmental Management from Duke University and a Bachelors of Science in Sustainability from Arizona State University. |
Keith Jones
Board Member Keith works at the Atlantic Council GeoTech Center, where he oversees the development of new partnerships that advance research on how emerging and frontier technologies are shaping geopolitics. Previously, he was the Assistant Director of Corporate Relations for the Atlantic Council, helping to shepherd ~$17M in revenue from 170+ companies annually. Before joining the Atlantic Council, Keith was Assistant to the President for Special Projects at the White House Historical Association, where he launched the Association’s membership program through a partnership with the Washington Nationals Baseball Club and was a project lead on the inaugural Presidential Sites Summit. |
Siddarth Mazumdar
Board Member Sid is a registered Professional Environmental Engineer (P.E.) and institutional sustainability strategist. In his previous role, Sid led the Environmental Engineering team at a Design Consulting firm and acted as primary consultant on multi-million dollar water related capital projects in Arizona. Currently Sid drives Microchip Technology’s global climate action plan, science based target setting, and net zero roadmap. Sid holds a master’s in environmental engineering from Arizona State University and served as the VP of Professional Development at GreenLight Solutions during 2017 as a Sun Devil. |

Isabella Constante
Development Intern Isabella Constante is a Sophomore studying Sustainability at Arizona State University. She grew up in Sedona, Arizona where she fostered her love for the environment. Her fascination with nature has taken her to places near and far. In the summer of 2019, Isabella volunteered with Rotary International in Mexico to restore natural lands. Service is her passion and she is excited to propel GreenLight Solutions’s mission to implement sustainable solutions. She is honored to be a part of a team with a strong devotion to solving sustainability challenges. When she is not interning at GreenLight Solutions, she can be found hiking or reading a good book. |
Madilyn Schexnider
Development Intern Madilyn Schexnider is a senior at Arizona State University and will graduate in December with a Bachelors of Arts in Sustainability. She is passionate about educating others with a focused interest in implementing sustainable development in cities. GreenLight Solutions provides the opportunity to grow professionally and participate in projects that create meaningful changes. She loves to travel and experience new cultures. Upon graduation in December of 2022, she hopes to one day combine her passions to travel the world and create lasting impacts. |
Justin Dettor
Development Intern Justin Dettor is a senior at Arizona State University and will be graduating in December with a Bachelors of Arts in Sustainability. He is passionate about implementing sustainable solutions within cities and businesses. After graduation he hopes to get involved in sustainability consulting and eventually city planning. Greenlight Solutions is able to match several of Justin’s passions within sustainability, while providing solid networking opportunities as well as field experience. |
Troy Weisler
Development Intern Troy Weisler is a lifelong native of New Mexico, where he has served as a member of the New Mexico State Police for the past 20 years. He earned a Bachelors from New Mexico State University and Masters from Wayland Baptist University prior to his current studies at Arizona State University where he is part of the Master of Sustainability Leadership (MSL) program. During his 20 years of service with the State Police he has served in areas throughout the state and in a myriad of roles, currently holding the rank of Deputy Chief. He intends to pursue a second career in sustainability after State Police and finding a new way to serve the public. He joined GreenLight Solutions as a Development Intern in order to get a better understanding of the great work being done in sustainability and to help further the important mission of the organization. |
Shawn Soward
I.T. Manager Shawn grew up on the beach in Orange County and has always been passionate about keeping the beaches clean. He built his first computer when he was 11 years old. Shawn has always had a passion for computers and Information Technology related services. He has managed websites and website security since 2012, and currently working full time as a web security manager. |
